Fun Fact: When I started my journey into hairstyling, I began with making wigs from scratch for friends and family and my dream was to sell the best quality wigs. I wanted hair that wasn’t just beautiful on day one, but hair that stayed flawlessly soft, silky, durable, and truly authentic.
THE MIMI COLLECTION - before Bella Avanti, that was the original name. If you know, you know! I sourced hair from alibaba and though the hair was good, I was dissapointed with the quality and I somewhat gave up but I always knew that one day I would have to get on a flight and source the hair for myself.

Now here we are ... my desire has led me thousands of miles across the world to Vietnam, a country known for producing some of the highest-quality raw and virgin human hair on the market.
Touching Down in Hanoi
My trip began in Hanoi, a city full of energy, culture, and craftsmanship. The moment I arrived, I could feel the pride people have in their work. From the busy streets to the calm villages just outside the city, everyone had a story ... and so did the hair industry.
Most Vietnamese hair is collected ethically from donors in rural areas, the best coming from the mountain areas, where women care for their hair with natural herbs, rice water, and gentle practices passed down for generations. This was exactly the origin I wanted for my brand.

Inside the Factories
Visiting factories in person was the most eye-opening part of my journey. I watched every step of the process:
Donor hair being carefully sorted by hand
Bundles being aligned with precision
Wefts stitched slowly to avoid shedding
Frontals and closures ventilated strand-by-strand
There are no shortcuts in real quality. Seeing the craftsmanship up close confirmed what my research already told me ... Vietnamese hair is one of the purest, most consistent forms of raw human hair available.
The factories I selected provide unprocessed, chemical-free, single-donor hair, and the difference is visible. The strands were thick from root to tip, naturally silky, and strong enough to last years with proper care.
Testing the Hair Myself
I didn’t just look, I tested everything:
Washed and air-dried bundles
Checked for cuticle alignment
Examined how the hair reacted to heat
Compared softness, thickness, and shedding levels
Only the hair that passed every stage made it through.
Why Vietnam?
What stood out most was the honesty and pride of the suppliers. The transparency in production and the authenticity of the donors made me confident that I had found the right source.
Vietnamese raw hair is known for being:
Thick, luxurious, and naturally silky
Long-lasting, often 3–5 years with care
Full from root to tip
Minimal shedding and tangling
This is the kind of quality my brand stands for.

Bringing Luxury to My Clients
This trip wasn’t just about buying hair—it was about building relationships and making sure that every bundle, every frontal, and every wig I offer meets the highest standard.
I came back from Vietnam inspired, knowledgeable, and confident that I am providing my clients with the best raw hair in the world. Every product I offer has been personally selected and quality-checked during my journey.
And this is only the beginning.
